Housing

Home / Life and Community / Housing

International students have three options for housing accommodation: on-campus residence halls, off-campus dormitories and off-campus apartments/condominium units.

The choice of where to stay during your program in Ateneo depends on one's budget and personal preference.

On-Campus Residence Halls

The Ateneo de Manila University has on-campus accommodations undergraduate and graduate students (local and international), scholars, athletes, and senior high school students, as well as visiting faculty members and other guests. The University Residence Halls (URH) provide shared spaces for a diverse community, creating opportunities for personal enrichment and growth.

Off-Campus Dormitories

There are off-campus boarding houses for male and female students. Rates vary according to the kind of accommodation available and may range between US $65 to US $210 per month.

A list of accredited off-campus boarding houses may be obtained at the Office of Student Services in the College or through the Office of International Relations.

Off-Campus Apartment/Condominium Units

There are also many off-campus apartments or condominium units near the Ateneo Loyola Heights Campus. Most are within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the Ateneo.

Rental for a basic, semi-furnished room for up to four people can range from US$ 250/month to US$420/month. Monthly rent does not include the cost of utilities (e.g. electricity, water, phone, cable TV subscription, and internet connection). The Office of International Relations provides a list of available apartment or condominium units from which students may choose from.
