Traditional textile crafts can produce synthesized music through digital techniques

This April 25, Dr Rebecca Stewart will conduct a workshop at Faber Hall in Ateneo de Manila University.

Dr. Rebecca Stewart, a Lecturer at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, will make you hear—and play—sounds you’ve never heard before. Workshop participants will work with conductive textiles and crafts to create electronic sensors that control audio synthesizers, and will be hand-sewing electrical circuits to stitch up new tunes.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind merrymaking music experience!
