Ateneo team wins at Microsoft Imagine Cup National Finals: World Citizenship Category

A team from Ateneo de Manila University bagged first place in the World Citizenship category of the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2015 held April 15 at Blue Leaf Filipinas, Paranaque.

Charles Justin Lim (4 BS CS) and Sean Andrew Yu Rafanan (4 BS CS) of the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS) won the National Finals: World Citizenship Category of the Cup for their “Sing” mobile education app that teaches learners how to overcome tone deafness.

The app also received the Best Booth and EduPro Choice Awards. Lim and Rafanan will both compete in the Asian Semi-Finals to be held online.
