Ateneo Advances in the 2018 QS Asia University Rankings

Ateneo de Manila University is up four slots, from #99 to #95, in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings for 2018.  

QS Asia assesses universities based on academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), faculty-student ratio (15%), citations per paper (10%), papers per faculty (10%), staff with PhD (5%), international faculty (2.5%), international students (2.5%), inbound exchange students (2.5%), and outbound exchange students (2.5%).

Ateneo performed strongest in employer and academic reputation.

Ateneo ranks second in the Philippines, while the University of the Philippines at #75 remains the top university. Other Philippine universities included in the top 150 are #134 De La Salle University and #145 University of Santo Tomas.

 The top universities in Asia are #1 Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), #2 National University of Singapore (NUS), and #3 The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKST).
